Finding the Right Dog for You!

When you are trying to get the perfect dog for you or your family it is always a good idea to do some research before getting your dog. Its always a good idea to make sure that the dog you are looking into is family and children friendly (if you have a family), also if you have any other dogs its always good to make sure that the two dogs get along. Its never good if you get a dog that doesn't get along with somebody in your family or household. Whenever you are looking for a pure breed dog always look in the pound first, never go to the breeders house first. You never know what kind of dog you might find in the pound, you may fall in love with the little mutt, or you might just find the dog you were looking for. If you don't find the dog you are looking for in any of your local pounds you might have luck in another state. The reason you shouldn't go right to the breeder is because their are millions of abandoned, stray dogs in the pound that need your help! A breeder is just making more dogs in the world that might end up in the pound, or another puppy in the pound just lost his spot to a "pure breed" puppy. If you have no luck finding your type of dog in the pound or any other place I guess its time to move onto the breeder ;(! I sure if you really look around for the dog you want you can probably find it!
